I am not offering any advice per se but I am a genius and this makes sense in my head. Cars are notorious for being incredibly hit or miss with making you money, you miss a lot more than you hit, but when you hit you hit big.
This is the mk1 Audi R8, I hope you have seen one before, because if you haven't, where have you been? They were first made in 2006 and have aged like a fine wine, you cannot tell me that this isn't beautiful.
Lets talk about why this is a good investment, and what specific specification I would buy. There are a few reasons why this should be a good investment; its the first supercar Audi has made, it has a timeless design, and its a dying breed of a drivers car. The beautiful thing about a car investment is that you can have fun with it while it makes you make money, and by fun I mean you stare at it and clean it......
So what spec would I buy? Well we will start of strong with the manual version (for obvious reasons that I hope you get). I would also go for the V10 preferably
(bigger engine = more fun), you could still get the V8 but I think the V10 is probably worth it. I would also get one with under 40K miles on the clock.
You can get a mk1 R8 for £30-£80K depending on the spec and the condition. Now where did I put my wallet? I know I left that £50K laying around somewhere.......
DO NOT FOLLOW MY ADVICE, I DO NOT CONDONE IT, IT IS PUNISHABLE BY DEATH! But seriously do your research!!!
