Bond Bug

This is the Bond Bug. The Bond Bug is a small two-seater, three-wheeled car? I think. It was built from 1970 to 1974 by Bond Cars and is technically a Reliant Robins brother. This is because Reliant bought Bond Cars.

Only 2,270 were ever made, considering this was 50-ish years ago I imagine there are barely any left floating about. The Bond Bug has a 700cc engine tuned by Lamborghini (no it wasn't but it sounds more interesting, so what's the harm in bending the truth). Okay I will tell the truth, the engine is actually from an Austin 7. The Bug uses a lift-up lid thing (the technical term) instead of a door, because doors aren't good enough. Although it is a microcar, the Bug was actually no cheaper than a normal car, it used to cost more than a mini did! Now the Mini's of that age are worth considerably more I imagine, the Bug still isn't cheap at £10,000, crazy.
