The Citroen Saxo VTS

First I will start with a little fact about myself. I have just found out that I have been spelling Citroen incorrectly my whole life. I used to spell it Citreon, what a prick I am.

We are talking about an old school hot hatch, one that I have never really paid attention to until recently. The Citroen Saxo have been around the block for 20-odd years, the VTS being the spiciest Saxo available. This car is legendary in the McDonalds' car park scene.

They aren't exactly the safest vehicles on earth, In fact they have an abysmal Euro NCAP rating, as displayed in this video:

You should be expecting to pay £1-3K for a VTS. However, they are like hens teeth now, apparently there are less than 500 left, so get one quick. I believe its something to do with the fact yobo's keep wrapping them around trees when trying to impress their 16 year old girlfriends. I actually wouldn't mind picking one up myself (not the 16 year old girl, the VTS), its nippy, light and reasonably cheap. This would make the perfect track car, along with its slightly slower, cheaper brother - the VTR.
