Lamborghini Murciélago | SupercarSundays

This weeks supercar is the Lamborghini Murciélago. A bit of a blast from the past, but still a head turner and still warrants the "supercar" label. For a supercar its had a long production life, it was first built in 2001 and the last one rolled off the production line in 2010. In this time approximately 4100 were built.

Over the 9 years, several types were made; the Murciélago, Murciélago LP 640-4, Murciélago LP 640-4 Roadster, Murciélago LP 650–4 Roadster and the Murciélago LP 670–4 SuperVeloce. Each one produces different figures, the quickest being the SuperVeloce that can do 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. Of course you only care about the quickest one right? The SV has a 6.5L V12 engine, it produces 661BHP and has a top speed of 211mph. The SuperVeloce is a special name to put on a car, it has been put on the Muira and Diablo before. SV is the raw, track-ready version of the standard car, it fits better in a collectors garage in comparison to the standard car.
