The Lamborghini Urus is the big honcho on the block when it comes to Luxury Sports SUV's. Its big, can carry all of your children to private school and its fast, very fast. It has a twin-turbo V8, that makes 641BHP. It can do 0-60 in 3.2seconds and will reach a blisteringly fast top speed of 190mph. This all sounds very nice, however what does not sound very nice is the price tag: £160,000 (base spec).
You could get some serious motors for that amount, in fact you could get an SUV and a sports car for the money. My favourite combination would be a Cayman GT4 and a Range Rover Sport. However, you could pick any number of combination, could maybe even pick the Urus' cheaper brother, the Audi SQ8 as pocket the rest of the cash.
The Audi SQ8 is like the Urus; it looks like it, it is made by the same parent company, and it carries just as many private school children (just make sure they're your own). There are two big differences, the price and the speed. It has a diesel V8, which produces 429BHP. 0-60 in 4.8seconds, which isn't too shabby, top speed of 155mph (probably limited). A slightly easier price tag to deal with: £70,000 (base spec).
Do you really need a Urus? Personally I would rather have two cars than one, so the SQ8 would be my pick. In fact you're never really going off-road in these two so I might even get an RS6 Avant. However, if you are a bit of a show off, and you really want to impress all the other dads outside Eton, then pick the Urus.
