The big man Lawrence Stroll (the Canadian billionaire, estimated to be worth $2.6 billion) has just bought a bigger stake in Aston Martin. He bought 16.7% in January for £182 million at £4 a share, and thanks to the ol rona (mentioning the corona virus often nowadays, probably because it influences so much), he has now bought a further stake at 8.3% (wow corona is stirring up the stock market quite a lot).
This means he owns 25% of the company, he has already injected some cash into the company to help the company keep afloat and grow, this is very necessary at this critical time, because as things progress with the virus, people are less likely to buy a car (especially in China) and this isn't really what you want when you own a car company, for obvious reasons.
I wish Aston Martin the best, its nice to see an English company survive in this mainly American/Asian based economy.
