"Another weekly column?" I hear you ask. Yes, this one basically involves me talking about a random supercar every Sunday. This weeks supercar is the Lexus LFA. The LFA is Japans most famous supercar and its a proper naughty motor. It was manufactured from December 2010 – December 2012, only 500 were ever made. The LFA's 4.8-litre V10 engine outputs 553-horsepower creating a 0-60 of 3.7 (there is a Nürburgring Edition that does it in 3.6).
If I am honest the LFA isn't as beautiful as a Ferrari or a Lamborghini, but much like its Japanese brother, the Nissan GTR, it is built for purpose. Lexus will tell you its purpose is to go as fast around a track as you can go, but they are wrong, the true purpose of the LFA is its noise. Jeeeeeez it sounds good, the sound that comes out of its triple exhaust is comparable to an old F1 car.
If you do one thing today, just make sure you watch Youtube videos on the LFA.
