Lister Storm | SupercarSundays

This one blends the line of supercar and race car but we will allow it.... The Lister Storm was a race/road car manufactured by Lister Cars in Cambridge (funnily enough where I am from, not that you care...). Lister started production in 1993 and managed to build just 4 "Storm's" in total. They only managed to build 4 because they came at quite the price, £220,000 a pop, a lot of money for a small car manufacturer.

The Storm used a Jaguar XJR9 derived V12 7.0L engine. "What's the XJR9?" I hear you ask, it competed at the 24 hours of LeMans so you can imagine the Lister Storm means serious business.

The meaty V12 produced generated 546 bhp and 582.7 ft/lb of torque. The car weighed 1,664 kg (a smudge more than me), and could accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds, dirty stuff.
