The Best Value Sports Car?

The 987 Porsche Cayman S is the bargain of the century. For starters it is a Porsche for under 15 grand. Although they are cheap, the "poor mans Porsche" label is underserved, for the real world they are all you really need. Fast, a Porsche (did I mention it's a Porsche?), and still beautiful (even if its a 14 year old design).

(When you buy one try and get the wheels that are in the picture.)

If you want something a bit flashy, but not too much then this is golden for you. You turn up to a dinner party in this, people will be thinking that you're doing well, but they won't hate you for being a show off knob head. There are two types you can buy; the Cayman and the Cayman S, honestly there isn't too much of a difference between the two. The standard one has a 2.7L engine, but the S has a 3.4L engine. The standard 2.7L is meant to be more of a reliable engine though.

If you want the "S" with reasonable miles, you can get one for £12,500 ish. The S gets to 60 in 5.4 seconds (anything under 6 gives you a rush in your trouser department). It's top speed is 171mph, which lets be honest is enough. 295bhp and 250lbs/ft of torque.

Buy one. Buy one. Buy one. (don't sue me if you do and its bad though.)
