I only became aware of the Levc TX when I visited London two weeks ago. They have been in use quite a while, but they look exactly like the old taxi's so from a distance you can't tell.
The obvious difference is the fact that they're electric, sort of, they are a plug-in hybrid. I assume this is better on fuel consumption than the previous taxi's. The average London cab needed an update so this is definitely welcomed, this has been pushed by rival services like Uber and Lyft I imagine. They have aux, SatNav, wipeable seats - what more do you need.
