Well it should be called that, but in reality its the Suzuki Jimny clothed in a Ford Bronco-esque body kit. Everyone hopefully knows about the Suzuki Jimny, apart from the American market as Suzuki have not sold a car in America for 8 years. So I suppose I might as well give you a little information about the Jimny - they have been making them since 1970 (in stages of course), over 2.85 million have been sold and they are basically jacked up kei cars. Kei means "light automobile", a kei car is a car sold in the Japanese market that has a lower tax band because of it being so light, and the fact that it has a small engine, normally under 1L.
Just in case you don't know what it looks like here is the standard Jimny:
Here is the kitted out DAMD "Little B. Dronco" (a strange name but that's what it is called). Dronco actually means "play with mud" in Japanese, niceee.
I would like to think that Ford rang up Suzuki one day and said "fancy hooking up some time baby girl for a hot night of passion?" I would also like to think that one day a girl will reply back with something other than a disgusted face when I say the same thing. Neither actually happened sadly, and in my case it probably never will. DAMD, a Japanese company were the brains behind this. It was first shown off at the Tokyo Auto Salon, I imagine that these sold pretty well, American looks with Japanese reliability.
