Zagato is famed for its crazy designs. It has fingers in many a car pie, working with Aston Martin, BMW, Bentley, Lancia and of course Alfa Romeo (hence the photo below). The particular collaboration we are talking about is the SZ, the strangest of the bunch.
The Alfa Romeo SZ or Sprint Zagato is a high-performance limited-production coupe that was built between 1989–1991. 0-60 in 7 seconds and a top speed of 152 mph. I overuse this term very often but its still apt, for the age of the car those specs are very good, especially from a 3L engine. The craziest part of this car is obviously the looks, I wouldn't describe it as a clean design, but it is very quirky. It uses a flared boxy design to really stand out, I especially like the lights, and feel like they may have inspired the headlights used on the Bugatti Chiron.
